Elco was started by Ely Hamaty in 1960, designing and installing custom sound systems for residential and Commercial customers. In 1970, Elco began the sales and service of marine electronics. Elco serviced recreational customers, the fishing industry, and commercial customers from Maine to Florida. As a Full-Service Marine Electronics Dealership, family-owned and operated since 1960, Elco was founded on a Customer Service and Satisfaction policy. These values have been passed down throughout the years and continue today. In 2024, Elco developed and opened its outdoor website. We offer everything from marine electronics to all outdoor sports, safety fishing, and maintenance.
